A NYC KID Back to School (30 Second Version) | August '21

I storyboarded, directed, recorded and edited this project. The biggest accomplishment of mine for this project would have to be the color correction as there was a bit of overcast for a majority of the shoots. There were two separate shooting days and I completed the video 2 days after the scond shoot.

Goal / Objectives: This version is meant to be more product-focused for a paid Instagram ad. The goal of both myself and the CEO of -A NYC Kid was to create a back to school ad that told the story of an average morning for students living in New York City. The deli scene, bacon egg and cheese sandwich, main character walking with a slice after school, train station and ice cream truck were all meant to add New York City elements to the ad. The clips of the children are all candid shots because my goal was to capture their essence and create a world focused on the youth rather than adults.
